She has gained particular expertise in cell biology / stem cell research markets, where she was responsible for the marketing and sales of a range of laboratory products (antibodies, assays, etc.) to research labs, OEM's and distributors for Hycult Biotech, one of the leading companies in this field. She has experience in Marketing Strategy, Market Research, Strategic and/or Operational Marketing plan, Business plan and Product Management. Dr van den Dolder has worked as academic stem cell researcher at different universities. She received her PhD in Medical Sciences and her STW-VENI award in 2003, both with as title Engineered Bone. She has worked with international authorities (Prof. Dr. John Jansen & Prof. Dr. A. Mikos, Rice University, Houston, USA and others) on stem cell/ biomaterial research. She has published more than 30 papers in international scientific journals like PNAS and Tissue Engineering.
Dr. Hefziba ten Brink is an experienced program/project manager with a focus on new product development. She works on projects at the early stage, as well as launch to the market. These projects were in large international teams, involving both internal stakeholders as well as external customers/partners. She has a background as a PhD in Chemistry and as an experienced product manager. She was responsible for the lifecycle of products, setting up business cases, projects to improve the competitiveness of products. Furthermore, she was responsibility for providing input in the development pipeline, by market analysis and benchmarking competitor products. She led cross-functional and international teams to deliver new product on the market via B2B partners.
As a researcher at the Radboud University Nijmegen, in the groups of Prof. Dr. Nolte and Prof. Dr. Rowan, he has gained extensive experience in inorganic-, (physical) organic-,metal organic-, supramolecular- and polymer chemistry, catalysis, photophysics and various spectroscopy techniques, including Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structures (EXAFS).
Dr. Stéphanie Bruekers has a background at the interface of biology and chemistry. She gained experience in cell biology working with human keratinocytes during a research project in the lab of prof. dr. Fiona Watt at the Centre for Stem Cell Research in Cambridge, UK. Next, she performed her PhD research at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the group of prof. dr. Wilhelm Huck where she studied cellular responses to material properties. Her main focus was on the early spreading dynamics and consequences for cell behavior on a series of materials.
Dr. Menno de Jong is an experienced leader with 15+ years of history working in various research and management roles in business and academic settings at the interface of life sciences, materials science, and nanotechnology. He co-founded a biomaterials company focused on the development of an innovative 3D cell culture matrix product for personalized medical treatments and regenerative medicine based on self-assembling hydrogels. He served in the company in numerous roles, including as CSO and CEO. He is experienced in product and technology development planning, preparation of business plans, writing grant applications, and business development. He has successfully acquired company and project financing from private investors, companies, and government funding agencies and closed marketing deals with international companies. He was responsible for the management and execution of projects translating academic research findings into marketable products for the stem cell biology research market. Dr. De Jong holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Twente and has authored around 20 papers in leading scientific journals.
